Here is a doggy treat recipe that I made earlier in the year for my dog Gia, these are perfect for your furry friend for christmas, or why not bring them to your next holiday party as a hostess gift for their furry friends! ♥
Ingredients ♥ 2 cups whole-wheat flour 1 tbsp. baking powder 1 cup peanut butter (chunky or smooth) 1 cup milk Directions ♥
Preheat oven to 375'F. In a bowl, combine flour and baking powder. In another bowl, mix peanut butter and milk, then add to dry ingredients and mix well. Place dough on a lightly floured surface and knead. Roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness and use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes. Bake for 15 minutes on a greased baking sheet until lightly brown. Cool on a rack, then store in an airtight container.
This is a traditional Russian Easter Egg dying process. The design on the eggs I have here is so beautiful yet so simple to achieve and what is even better is completely natural, no chemicals involved! ♥
Here is what you will need: Onion peels(red or yellow) from about 10 onions White Eggs Any leaves you like e.g. rose leaves, parsley, dill, anything interesting you can find in your back yard! Salt -1 tsp. Pantyhose Thread Take the onion peels and put them in a pot. The next step is quite simple but a teensy bit fiddly. Place a leaf of your choice on the egg and slide it inside a pantyhose, tie a thread on each side of the egg to prevent the leaf from sliding. Repeat the process until all the eggs are “dressed” in pantyhose. I learned that very stiff leaves don’t work as well because they don’t “hug” the egg too tightly and produce an unclear print. Fill your pot with water and boil the eggs for 15-20 minutes. Make sure the heat is not set on very high as you don’t want your eggs knocking around in the pot and cracking. Cool the eggs, remove the panty hose and the leaves, wipe any leaf remnants with a cloth. The last step is to make them shiny! Simply rub each egg with a little bit of oil. Use food colouring pastes and a tablespoon of vinegar per each cup of colour, top up with boiling water. Drop a cooked egg and let it sit for 5 minutes. I recommend using gel colours as they produce more vivid hues than their liquid counterparts.
So I have got to say I love my minature pinscher Gia, she is my baby! I love to spoil her, I have to say in the past I have spend up to 300 dollars on a princess bed for her! This time I thought I would try something different and make one here's how you can make one too for your little best friend! ♥
Materials Needed: wooden shipping pallets tape measure nail puller hammer 1 1/2" finish screws stainless steel finish nails chop saw carpenter's pencil drill Dismantle Pallets Gather a group of used wooden shipping pallets . I found mine for FREE at the local warehouse grocery store. Using a hammer or nail puller, remove each plank of wood from the pallet base , then dismantle the base. Choose Best Pieces Lay all pieces of wood out on a flat, level surface. Based on your specific shipping pallet and the intended size of your dog bed, choose which pieces are the best fit for the two sides, the rear, the front fascia and the base. Tip: A good-sized dog bed for small and medium dogs is 12 to 16 inches, and 14 to 18 inches for larger dogs. Measure and Cut Boards Measure and mark side boards using measuring tape and a carpenter's pencil. Cut them to 24-inch lengths with a circular saw. Measure and mark the rear and bottom boards using measuring tape and a carpenter's pencil, and cut to a 36-inch length with a circular saw. These boards will be the rear panel and bottom planks. Measure and Cut Structural Pieces To create structural pieces, measure and mark 1 1/2-inch strips using measuring tape and a carpenter's pencil, and cut with a circular saw . Next, use a circular saw to cut six pieces of wood the same length as the desired overall height. Attach Structural Pieces Lay out rear panel boards on a flat, level surface, and attach structural pieces on each end with finish nails or screws using a drill or hammer . Lay out side panel boards on a flat, level surface, and attach structural pieces on each end . Attach Side and Rear Panels Attach side panels to each end of the rear panels with finish nails or screws using a drill or hammer. Cut and Attach Fascia Board Measure and mark side boards using measuring tape and a carpenter's pencil, then cut front fascia board to length of the front edge from side to side. Install front fascia to side panels with finish nails or screws using a drill or hammer. Install Base Planks Attach planks to the base's underside with finish nails or screws using a drill or hammer. Tip: Make sure the planks sit flush, or the dog bed may appear crooked. Sand Edges Use an orbital sander or sanding block to smooth out the rough edges of each panel . Add cushions I painted it pink and added supercute cushions and pillows, you can either make these or just buy them online or at the store! Here is a great website that has custom cushions for dogs ILuvU4ever And voila supercute right? ♥ for more detailed pics and instructions clickhere
I was pleased to be asked by an awesome company Paperless Post to do a article for them for a summer themed party. I chose to do a Lobster Bake Summer Cookout party! I love fresh lobster, take a look at the diy tablesettings and recipes and you too can great the perfect party! ♥
First you have to start off right with invites, here is the design that I picked. Check out the Paperless Post website here!
Now the menu
Here is the recipe Ingredients ♥ 3 pounds new potatoes Twelve 1-pound lobsters 12 pounds littleneck clams, scrubbed and rinsed 2 pounds dried chorizo sausage 1 dozen ears of unhusked corn 6 sticks (1 1/2 pounds) unsalted butter, melted Directions ♥ In a large, deep pot, cover the potatoes with cold, salted water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes. Drain well. On a flat beach, dig a 6-by-4-foot pit 2 feet deep. Line the pit with 90 rocks. Dig a 2-foot-wide pit nearby, also 2 feet deep. Using 8 logs, build a bonfire in the large pit. Over the next hour and 45 minutes, add 6 logs to the fire every 15 minutes, building the fire outwards so that it covers the base of the pit. After the first 45 minutes, as the logs turn to coals, add 20 rocks to the fire. When the logs have completely turned to coals, after about 2 hours, shovel the 20 rocks to the sides. Leaving a 1-inch-thick layer of coals atop and between the rocks, shovel the rest of the coals into the smaller pit and extinguish with water. Meanwhile, using a screwdriver, perforate the baking pans, punching holes in the bottoms about every inch. Arrange the lobsters and potatoes together in 6 of the pans. Arrange the clams, chorizo and corn in the 6 remaining pans. Wearing mitts, line the pit with a 1/2-inch-thick layer of rockweed. Arrange the pans on the rockweed in a single layer. Top the pans with a 1-inch-thick layer of rockweed. Fold the tarps in half lengthwise to measure 5 by 8 feet. Stack them on top of the rockweed. Weight down the edges of the top-most tarp with the remaining 10 rocks to trap the steam. Bake for about 1 hour, checking after 45 minutes. The lobsters and potatoes should be done; the clams, corn and chorizo will need another 15 minutes. When cooked, the lobsters will be bright red, the clams open, and the corn and potatoes fork-tender. Serve with melted butter. NOTES Equipment Fire extinguisher 1 large bucket 1 or 2 full-size shovels 120 rocks, about the size of grapefruits 50 hardwood logs, each about 2 feet long and 8 inches in diameter Screwdriver Twelve 9-by-13-by-1 1/2-inch disposable aluminum baking pans Heavy-duty oven mitts 25 pounds rockweed
Three 10-by-8-foot canvas tarps, soaked in water Here is the decor

I am so excited to be asked by Fysico Lashesto review this awesome product! They sent me a free eyelash growth serum! I have been using it now for almost 4 weeks . It's Fysico Lash serum.FYSIKO ( pronounced [fi-zi-ko']) is “natural” in Greek language. Fysiko Eyelash Serum made with natural ingredients. ♥
It will support eyelashes and enhance appearance of eyelashes and eyebrows. Women who do use Fysiko Eyelash Serum while having extensions, reported less or no eyelash fall, stronger and more eyelashes, therefore more eyelashes to glue extensions on. Fysiko eyelash serum is easy to apply. Unscrew the lid and pull out the applicator on the end of cap. It should have some watery liquid on it. It shouldn’t drop, the tip should be wet, but there should be no product dropping, if it does – it is too much product and the brush needs to be wiped on the border of Fysiko Eyelash Tube. One thin stroke on the upper eyelid on the place where eyelashes starting to grow is enough. There is no need to apply twice, or soak eyelid in the solution, or make sure that every eyelashes got the solution. Eyelashes will grow if Fysiko Eyelash Serum consistently applied every night. ♥ How long before I see results from using FYSIKO eyelash growth serum do you ask?
Some see results as fast as within 2 weeks. Most customers start seeing results in 4 weeks. On average our testers have seen a 56% increase in lash length after using FYSIKO eyelash growth serum for 6 weeks. Some testers have seen as high as 82% increase in lash length. Full results will be seen in 16 weeks. Who needs falsies when you have Fysico Eyelash Serum! Order here.. Fysico Lashes♥

It's almost Easter, here is a traditional dying russian style of easter eggs using onion peels!. On Holy Thursday, Russians paint Easter eggs using their traditional method of boiling them in onion peels or other natural dyes. Painted eggs are a universal symbol of Easter, but in Russia they take on even greater significance.♥
Ingredients ♥
-The dry outer peels from about 10 yellow onions - a dozen white eggs. Instructions ♥ 1. Place eggs in a bowl with warm water. Eggs are more likely to crack if they are placed in boiling water when they’re cold. 2. Fill a small saucepan about 1/3 with water (or enough to cover the eggs). Add onion peel and bring to a boil. Boil for 5 to 10 minutes until onion peels release their color. 3. Remove eggs from warm water and place them in the pot, making sure they are fully submerged in water. Add more boiling water if needed. Boil 7 minutes, turning the eggs occasionally. 4. Remove eggs to a bowl of cold water. Once they are cooled, dry with paper towels and Tada!! You can also rub some oil on the shell to give them a nice shine. ♥
Happy Sunday Funday!!!!Here is my recipe for a great bloody mary bar you can do at home, who said Sunday Funday's can't be at the house? Here is what you need to set up your own little diy bloody mary bar! ♥
Here are some essentials and suggestions for setting up a build-it-yourself Bloody Mary Bar. Give your guests a glass of ice and let them tinker around to create their favorite version: Liquor: Put out a selection of flavored and regular vodkas. Although good vodka is the basis for most Bloodies, you may want to offer your crowd other options, like gin or tequila. Mixers: I prefer to stock straight-up tomato juice, but there are a lot of boutique-style mixers on the market that are really tasty. Choose one with quality (real) ingredients for the best flavor. Garnishes and Add-Ins: Now comes the fun part! Provide your guests with an assortment of delicious nibbles and flavor extras for creating their ultimate party-in-a-glass. Lemon and lime wedges or coins Celery stalks Olives, stuffed and pitted options Radishes Cucumbers Pickle spears or gherkins Pepperoncini Celery salt, Old Bay seasoning or sea salt for those who want a flavored rim Spices, like cayenne pepper, paprika, chili powder and black pepper Horseradish Worcestershire sauce Steak sauce Hot sauce Bacon Pepperoni Beef jerky Boiled shrimp
Here is my recipe for the ultimate diy sunday funday bloody mary!
Ingredients ♥ 1 1/2 – 2 oz (about a shot) of vodka ( My fave Absolut Vodka) Pepper (little more than a dash, but if your mix is pepper-heavy you may not need it) Pinch of celery salt 1/4 tsp of Old Bay Seasoning Splash of olive juice Dash of Tabasco Dash of bitters (celery bitters if you have it) Splash of Worcester Sauce 1/8 tsp Horseradish (or more if you’re hooked on it like we are) Blood Mary mix or wing it I loveV-8 juice Olives for garnish (bonus points if they are stuffed with garlic) Lime and lemon wedge to squeeze Celery or pickled green beans (so good) for garnish Lemon or lime wedge for garnish and dilly pickles!
Pickled onions and bread and butter pickles for garnish Directions ♥ Throw everything through the horseradish in a shaker with ice, and fill up the rest with the Bloody Mary mix. Give it a good shake and pour into a tall or short glass rimmed with salt and pepper. Garnish with lemon or lime wedge, shrimp, beef jerky.. bread and butter pickle pickled onion, and dilly beans.. the possibilites with garnishments are endless!!!!

And now for that thirsty thursday recipe, did you know that drinking wine helps your skin? According to dermatologist Leslie Baumann,( details magazine) red wine, also blush wine such as zinfandel contains skin-friendly grape-seed extract and resveratrol, two powerful antioxidants. The mechanism is the antioxidants in red and blush wine. Antioxidants sop up damaging free radicals that play a role in aging and age-related diseases. There is a much higher concentration of antioxidants called polyphenols, including resveratrol, in wine compared to grape juice. In wine, the skin and seeds are part of the fermenting process, but both are removed when making grape juice.Wine is part of the Mediterranean diet, which is also rich in fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, nuts and seeds, legumes, seafood, yogurt, and olive oil. This diet is more of a lifestyle that includes drinking wine with dinner. Studies show that the Mediterranean diet is associated with longer, healthier lives.Who knew? Here is a cute idea for boozy white zin pops! ♥
Ingredients ♥
½ seedless baby watermelon, rind removed and fruit cut into ½-inch cubes (about 6 cups) 1 tablespoon roughly chopped fresh mint 1 cup white zinfandel 2 tablespoons agave syrup
Directions ♥ 1. Purée the cubed watermelon in a food processor or blender until smooth, 10 to 15 seconds. Strain through a sieve set over a medium bowl. To a small bowl, add 1 cup of the strained watermelon juice (save the rest for another use) and the mint. Set aside for 10 minutes to steep, then strain through a sieve into the watermelon purée. Discard the strained mint. 3. Stir in the wine and agave syrup. Divide the mixture among the 10 holes of a 10-pop mold and freeze until solid,( I used dixie cups super easy!) at least 4 hours.
