So I decided this morning to do my homemade version of a Starbucks pumpkin latte. It's a great pick me up on a saturday, and sugar free! enjoy! ♥
Ingredients ♥
1 single or double shot espresso
3/4 cup fat free milk
15 drops Stevia (liquid)
1/3 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
one dollap of fat free whipped cream
nutmeg or pumpkin pie spice ( for garnish)
Directions ♥
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan.
Heat over medium-low heat, constantly mixing until the mixture is steaming hot. Don’t let boil. Remove from the heat. Blend the mixture until smooth in a blender or with immersion blender.Pour into heatproof glass and serve immediately, preferably garnished with fat free whipped cream and sprinkled with pumpkin pie spice or nutmeg.
If serving chilled put in fridge for a couple of hours, serve, add ice top off with fat free whipped cream and enjoy! ♥
