Mamma's Russian Beef Stroganoff ♥

Today I am posting a favorite recipe of mine,  this holds a near and dear place in my heart.  I was asked my Six Sisters Stuff http://www.sixsistersstuff.com/ to be a featured chef! Here is my favorite recipe, which takes me back to childhood, my mama's  russian stroganoff. My mother passed when I was 15 1/2 of Juvenille Diabetes, I have many memories in the kitchen of her making healthy meals and desserts. Mamma's Russian Beef Stroganoff



Ingredients ♥ 

2 lbs lean boneless sirloin (trimmed of fat and gristle) or 2 lbs bottom round steaks, in one piece (trimmed of fat and gristle)
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
4 tablespoons butter ( smart balance brand)
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon flour
1 teaspoon mustard powder (OR 1 Tablespoon prepared Dijon style mustard)
1/2 cup dry white wine
2 teaspoons tomato paste (optional)
1 tablespoon minced onion
1/2 lb mushroom, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons dry white wine
1 cup light  sour cream, warmed


Directions


Cut meat into 1/2 inch thick slices. Place between sheets of waxed paper and pound until its 1/4 inch thick (be careful not to tear meat). Cut pounded meat into 2x1/2 inch slices. Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper, let stand for 15 minutes.

Heat 2 TBS butter in a frying pan large enough to hold everything. Add sliced onion, cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.

Add meat to pan and cook for 3 minutes, turning meat to brown evenly.

Stir in flour and mustard, and cook 1 minute more. Add 1/2 cup wine and optional tomato paste. Reduce heat to low, cover pan and simmer for 5-10 minutes, stirring frequently.

In another frying pan, heat 2 TBS butter. Add minced onion and mushrooms. Cook over medium heat 2 minutes. Add 2 TBS wine and cook 2 minutes more. Add mushroom mixture to meat mixture. Check seasonings and add warmed sour cream.

Over lowest possible heat, simmer for 5 minutes to heat through. Do NOT let it boil.

Serve over hot rice or pasta with a green vegetable on the side.enjoy! ♥

As many as you like! Put all your recipes out there! ♥

3. How much money will you really make?
We are estimating that you will make about $3 per recipe per month (as long as you do a little promoting). So, if you put in 25 recipes, that is an extra $75 for you each month. The great thing is once you put a recipe into our database, you will make money on it for as long as you live! Month after month after month . . . ♥

4. How do you make money to pay people for their recipes?
If you look at MyRecipeMagic, you will see there is an advertisement at the top of the page, two in the sidebars, and one at the bottom. Those ads are what generate the money to pay you. The more page views your ads get, the more you will get paid.  ♥

5. How do you pay out each month?

Once you create an account you're ready to start uploading your recipes!  Adding a recipe is really easy, all you do it fill out the recipe form on the website, upload a picture,  and click submit. Our recipe loving people verify each recipe so there are no duplicates on the site.  Once your recipe is published to the page you will receive an e-mail letting you know it's on the site.  To view all of your recipes click on "My Recipes". Head over to your dashboard to view your recipes, your page views, how much money you earned, and your analytics!  ♥
