Italian Pizza Soup ♥

Here is a twist on the traditional italian soup, pizza soup! My version is healthy and filling! enjoy! ♥
Ingredients ♥ 

1/2 cup onion, diced
1 tablespoon corn starch (or 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour)
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon rosemary, crushed
1 1/4 cup milk
1- 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
1- 14.5 oz can tomato sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 cup turkey mini pepperonis (or cut up large pepperonis)
1/3 cup diced mushroom
1/4 cup diced bell pepper
1 green onion, thinly sliced for garnish
1/4 cup sliced zucchini
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup sliced olives


Directions ♥

In a medium saucepan, heat olive oil and saute onions and zucchini until golden, about 5-7 minutes.
Add cornstarch and spices. Stir until cornstarch is absorbed and lump-free.
Slowly add milk, stirring constantly. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, and sugar. Heat just to boiling. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Use an immersion blender or carefully ladle the soup into a blender and blend until the soup is smooth and creamy.
Add the pepperonis, mushrooms, and peppers to the soup. Heat until warmed through.
Spoon soup into bowls. Top with cheese and olives. enjoy! ♥
