peel and eat summer shrimp ♥

This is a simple summer recipe for a perfect start to the weekend, easy peel and eat summer shrimp enjoy! ♥



Ingredients ♥

  • 1 lemon, cut in half
  • 1/2 orange
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 T salt
  • 1/4 lb – 1/2 lb raw shrimp in the shell
 Directions

Fill a large pot 3/4 full of water. Throw in the lemon and orange halves, cinnamon, and salt, and bring to a boil. Once it is boiling, take the pot off the heat, add the raw shrimp, and cover with a lid. Let it sit for 3 minutes, then drain and serve with cocktail sauce for dipping.
Diners peel the shrimp at the table as they eat, so keep plenty of napkins on hand and an empty bowl for discarded shells. enjoy! ♥
